Training 5pm at the pool on Friday for those who are heading down early. This will be an opportunity

to get your registration passes and program. If you can’t make training either Toni or Jo will collect

the rest of the passes and hand out when you arrive.

For those who have not attended a Country Short Course Championship event before please be

prepared....it is warm, noisy and very, very busy! There is no need to bring chairs; there will be no

floor space available to place them!!! Food is usually well catered and at the last Championship held

here a number of external food vans were located in a designated food court area outside.

Warm up: The warm up schedule is on the Swimming Victoria website. Paul has requested

swimmers to be at the pool at 7.30am on Saturday.

Seating is very limited on poolside. Its is very important that for the comfort of spectators that NO

SWIM BAGS OR KIT BAGS be left on the Grandstand. We will identify an appropriate location for

storage close by and request that no valuables be left in unattended bags.

Please note our allocated seating is in Bay 1: F11‐F14, G9‐G14, H9‐H14, I9‐I14, J9‐J14 Sharing the bay

with Geelong Sharks. It is common that other clubs spread out into unattended seats; it is also very

common that we respectfully ask them to move when they do this!!!!!

Club Dinner.

We have arranged a club dinner on Saturday night; 7pm at Golden City Hotel, 427 Sturt Street, Ballarat. Its a family bistro, please order individually.

We only have to provide 2 timekeepers for lane 8 on Saturday only. They are the best

seats in the house so we will share this out. Helpful hint...take a change of shoes or wear thongs

when timekeeping, you can get very wet! If you are not rostered on but would like to help please let

Toni or Jo know as it would be great if parents could swap in and out to enable timekeepers to watch

their child’s race.
